Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 30, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Super Dev Software LLC, which operates the PoolBeacon software and website (PoolBeacon, we, or us), collects, uses, shares, and protects personal information through our website and software. It also describes your privacy rights and how to exercise them. PoolBeacon is based in California.

1. Our two roles

PoolBeacon handles personal information in two different roles.

  • As a service provider. When an operator uploads information about their own customers (names, addresses, contact details, service locations, and visit photos), the operator is the business and controller and decides how that information is used. PoolBeacon acts only as that operator’s service provider and processes the information to provide the Service. If you are a pool owner with a question or request about your data, please contact your pool-service operator. We will help them respond.
  • As a business. For an operator’s own account, billing, and support information, and for visitors to our marketing website, PoolBeacon is the business responsible under this Policy.

2. Information we collect

We collect the categories of personal information below, using the category labels from California law. The source is you, your operator (for pool-owner data), or your browser and device, and where relevant our analytics and advertising partners.

  • Identifiers: name, business name, postal address, email, phone number, IP address, and device or cookie identifiers.
  • Customer records and commercial information: subscription, billing, and transaction records.
  • Internet or network activity: pages viewed, features used, and analytics events on our website and in the app.
  • Geolocation: service addresses and route information you enter, and coarse location estimated from an IP address.
  • Visual information: photos you upload to document service visits.
  • Audio information: if you enable the AI phone receptionist, call recordings or transcripts.
  • Professional information: the name and role of team members an operator invites.
  • Inferences: limited inferences we draw to operate, secure, and improve the Service.

We do not intentionally collect sensitive personal information beyond what is described here, and we do not use it to infer characteristics about you.

3. How we use information

  • to provide, secure, support, and improve the Service;
  • to process subscriptions and payments and to prevent fraud;
  • to communicate with you about your account, including service and billing messages;
  • to understand how our website and product are used through analytics;
  • to market our own service, including measuring and showing our ads; and
  • to comply with law and enforce our agreements.

4. Cookies, analytics, and advertising

Our marketing website uses cookies and similar technologies. Strictly necessary cookies are always on. Analytics and advertising cookies are optional. In the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom we do not set optional cookies until you accept them. In the United States, including California, optional cookies may be set by default, and you can opt out at any time using the controls described below, the Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information link, or a browser Global Privacy Control signal.

Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand website traffic and improve our service. It collects online identifiers, a truncated IP address used only to estimate coarse location, and information about your device, pages viewed, and actions taken. We do not enable Google Signals and do not use Google Analytics to build advertising audiences. You can opt out with our cookie controls or with Google’s opt-out add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.

Reddit advertising pixel

We use the Reddit advertising pixel to measure our ads and show ads to people who have visited our site. When it is active, it shares online identifiers and information about your activity on our site with Reddit. Under California law this is considered sharing of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. You can stop this sharing using the controls in the next section.

5. Do Not Track and Do Not Sell or Share

Do Not Track

Some browsers send a Do Not Track signal. There is no industry standard for how to respond, so our website does not respond differently to Do Not Track signals at this time. We do honor the Global Privacy Control signal as described below. Third parties, including Google and Reddit, may collect information about your activity across different websites when you use our site.

Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information

We do not sell your personal information for money. We do share certain online identifiers with advertising partners such as Reddit, and with Google for advertising measurement, for cross-context behavioral advertising. California residents have the right to opt out of this sharing. To opt out, use the [Do Not Sell or Share opt-out control on this page], or send a Global Privacy Control signal from your browser. We treat a Global Privacy Control signal as a valid request to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information for that browser or device, and we will indicate when we have recognized your signal.

6. How we share information

We do not sell your personal information for money. We share information only as described here:

  • with service providers that run the Service on our behalf and are bound by contract to protect the information, including Supabase (database, authentication, and storage), Stripe (billing and payments), Resend (email), Sentry (error monitoring), and our mapping, geocoding, and routing providers such as MapTiler, OpenStreetMap, the U.S. Census geocoder, and OSRM or Mapbox;
  • with Google for analytics and, for advertising measurement, and with Reddit for advertising, as described in the cookies section;
  • to comply with law, respond to lawful requests, or protect rights, safety, and the security of the Service; and
  • in connection with a merger, financing, or sale of our business, subject to this Policy.

Operator-uploaded customer data is shared with our service providers only to provide the Service to the operator and is never sold or used for our own advertising.

7. Your California privacy rights

If you are a California resident, you have the right to:

  • know and access the personal information we have collected about you;
  • delete personal information, subject to legal exceptions;
  • correct inaccurate personal information;
  • opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information; and
  • not be discriminated against for exercising your rights.

To exercise a right, email hello@poolbeacon.com with the subject Privacy Request, or use the opt-out control described above. We will verify your request using the information we have, and you may use an authorized agent. If you are a pool owner whose information an operator uploaded, please direct your request to that operator, and we will assist them as their service provider.

8. How long we keep information

We keep each category of personal information only as long as needed for the purposes described, then delete or de-identify it. For example, account and profile data for the life of your subscription plus a limited wind-down period; billing records for as long as tax and accounting law requires; error logs for a limited diagnostic window; and operator-uploaded customer data until the operator deletes it or leaves PoolBeacon. [Confirm the real retention schedule before launch.]

9. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal information, including access controls and encryption in transit and at rest. No method of storage or transmission is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Children

PoolBeacon is a business tool and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16, and we do not sell or share the personal information of minors.

11. If you are outside California

We offer PoolBeacon across the United States. Residents of other states may have similar privacy rights under their own laws. You can use the same contact method above to make a request, and we will honor the rights that apply to you.

12. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy. We will post the updated version here with a new Last updated date and, for material changes, notify you by email or in the app where appropriate. We review this Policy at least once every 12 months.
